Lee 'Scratch' Perry brings dub to North American clubs
Dub legend Lee "Scratch" Perry has announced a 15-date, North American club tour to commence at the House of Blues in West Hollywood on March 6.
The 64-year-old artist, who worked with Bob Marley in the '60s and '70s, is known for his influential work across the genres of ska, reggae and drum n' bass. Originally from Jamaica, he also lived and worked in England and the Netherlands. Perry's home base currently is in the U.K.
The latest release from the prolific and eclectic artist, "Techno Party," (Beatville), was a trip-hop collaboration with Mad Professor that was released in September 2000.
