David Gray maps out extensive theater tour

Newly crowned platinum, singer-songwriter David Gray is returning to North America for his fourth tour in 13 months, this time graduating from clubs to theaters.
His 33-date run includes stops at New York City's Radio City Music Hall and Los Angeles' Universal Amphitheatre, as well as multiple nights at the Warfield in San Francisco and the Moore Theatre in Seattle.
Bolstered by several recent national TV appearances, Gray received his first platinum album in the U.S. for "White Ladder."
While Gray's song "Babylon" has earned steady airplay, another song, "Sail Away," will be featured in the upcoming Robert DeNiro film "15 Minutes," due in theaters in March. The second single from "White Ladder," "Please Forgive Me," will be released this spring.
Gray's follow-up to "White Ladder," "Lost Songs 96-98," is also due out this spring. The acoustic album of previously unrecorded songs was recently nominated for a Brit Award in the Best Album category.
