Mudvayne [ tickets ] has lined up a 14-date headlining club tour that kicks off on Feb. 14. The heavy-metal quartet is touring in support of its major-label debut, “L.D. 50” (Epic).

Following its release last August, “L.D. 50” debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, and at No. 113 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album has sold over 100,000 copies to date, according to Epic.

The album was produced by Gggarth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, L7 and Kittie) and Slipknot’s Shawn “6” Crahan, according to a group press release.

The video for “Dig,” the latest single from “L.D. 50,” is currently in rotation on MTV2.

Last summer, Mudvayne participated in the Tattoo the Earth tour, an outing that featured Sevendust, Slipknot, Slayer, (hed) p.e., Sepultura and others. The group was also featured on the annual Big Day Out festival tour in Australia and New Zealand, which wrapped up on Sunday (2/4).

Nonpoint--whose latest album, “Statement” (MCA) was released last October--will occupy the opening slot on all but the first of Mudvayne's U.S. tour dates; local metal act 2 Ton Crutch will open at the Feb. 11 kick-off in Minneapolis.

L.A. metal group Spineshank will also be featured on a number of Mudvayne’s February dates. That group is touring in support of last October’s “The Height of Callousness” (Roadrunner)

Mudvayne has planned a European tour that will follow the upcoming string of U.S. dates.
