Steve Earle keeps up busy road schedule

Steve Earle , who has been touring consistently with his band the Dukes since last July, will continue his latest leg of dates on Friday (2/16) in Cincinnati.
The singer-songwriter's latest album, “Transcendental Blues,” has received a Grammy nomination in the Best Contemporary Folk Album category. The 43rd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony takes place on Feb. 21 in Los Angeles.
Earle has put songwriting on the back-burner in recent months to prepare for the release of a book of his short stories titled "Doghouse Roses." The book is expected to reach stores in June.
Country Music Television will repeat the 60-minute special “Steve Earle in Concert" on Feb. 26 at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The special debuted on Feb. 4.
Country-folk singer-songwriter Stacey Earle--Steve's younger sister and former bandmate--will be the opening act for the February and March dates. She made her solo debut with the 1998 album "Simple Gearle," and issued a follow-up titled "Dancin' with Them That Brung Me" last May.
