KISS Online has posted the first publicity shot of drummer Eric Singer in Peter Criss' makeup and costume.
Remastered soundtracks for "Tommy," "The Kids Are Alright" and "Quadrophenia" are set for release in the U.S. and U.K. on March 5. According to Pete Townshend 's website, "All the original tracks from the original vinyl versions have been restored for the first time on CD. Enhanced booklets are also included."
Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne's manager and wife, attended the band Otep's set at L.A.'s Roxy on Monday (2/12) and is "already talking Ozzfest for the young L.A. band," the Los Angeles Times reported.
According to a press release, "Peter Frampton will hold a live internet chat on Yahoo!! tomorrow night (Friday, February 16) at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT. Fans can chat with Frampton by logging on to http://chat.yahoo.com."
Napster has hired Manus Cooney, a senior aide to Utah senator Orrin Hatch, to "oversee policy issues," TheStandard.com reported.
Electronica group Lords of Acid are releasing a new album on Never Records titled "Farstucker" on Feb. 27. A few tour dates have been confirmed: Feb. 27 at Irving Plaza in New York; March 1 at 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.; March 3 at Metro in Chicago; March 4 at the State Theater in Detroit; and March 6 at the Palace in Los Angeles.
