Guster to criss-cross the U.S. on upcoming tour

Pop band Guster is returning to the road after a three-month break to headline a six-week tour that will take it as far east as Vermont, and as far west as California. The jaunt begins and ends in Pennsylvania.
Guster spent the fall and part of the winter touring with Grammy nominees Barenaked Ladies, and did an additional one-off set opening for the group on Feb. 15 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The group, whose most recent album is 1999's "Lost and Gone Forever" (Sire), spent its break writing new material. Recently, Guster was nominated for two Boston Music Awards--Best Album and Best Rock Band. The 14th annual ceremony, hosted by MTV VJ Dave Holmes, is scheduled for April 19 at Boston's Orpheum Theater.
