U.K. Concert Outlook: U2, Beck, Run DMC, Andrea Bocelli, Beach Boys
U2 added extra U.K. dates as tickets for their previously announced shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham sold out on Friday (3/9). Extra shows were announced for London's Earl's Court Arena (8/19, 21, 22) and the Manchester Evening News Arena (8/12).
Beck has added an extra U.K. date to his summer European tour . He will now play at the Birmingham Academy on June 27.
Run DMC is scheduled to play at the Mean Fiddler in London on March 24. A new single titled "Rock Show" is due in the U.K. on March 26. The track is taken from the LP "Crown Royal," Run DMC's first new album since 1993, which will be released in the U.K. on April 9.
More additions to this year's Hyde Park Concert Series, in London, have been unveiled for July: Andrea Bocelli (7/21), Status Quo and the Beach Boys (7/22) and a second Sting show (7/29).
Tickets for Bocelli's show go on sale on Sunday (3/11) with the rest on sale on Monday (3/12).
The Beach Boys have also announced three more dates for July: Edinburgh Castle (3/19), Warwick Castle (3/20) and Liverpool Kings Docks (3/21).
