Aerosmith has rescheduled its appearance at the Virgin Megastore in New York's Times Square for Friday (3/16) at 6 p.m.

An Italian appeals court overturned a lower court ruling that said that Michael Jackson did not plagiarize Italian songwriter Al Bano's song "I Cigni di Balaka" in his own song, "Will You Be There."

The Hollywood Palladium will host a Rock for Choice show on April 6. Featured performers will include Sarah McLachlan , Melissa Etheridge , Paula Cole and the Bangles.

Bob Schneider--a veteran of the Austin music scene whose past includes stints in Joe Rockhead, Ugly Americans and the Scabs, won eight awards at the Austin Music Awards on Wednesday (3/14), the first night of the South by Southwest music conference. Winners of other major awards included Vallejo (band of the year), Kissinger (best new band), and Slaid Cleaves and Rod Picott (song of the year and single of the year for "Broke Down").
