The Toadies end hiatus with national tour

After nearly seven years without a record or a tour, the Toadies are returning to the road. A new album, "Hell Below/Stars Above" (Interscope), was released last week.

The tour, which began on March 24 in San Antonio, Texas, runs through May 11. It includes a two-night stand in Amarillo, Texas, as well as stops in most major markets.

"Hell Below/Stars Above" is the follow-up to 1994's "Rubberneck," which spawned the alt-rock radio hit "Possum Kingdom."

Based out of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, the Toadies include singer-songwriter-guitarist Todd Lewis, guitarist Clark Vogeler, bassist Lisa Umbarger and drummer Mark Reznicek.
