Rod Stewart to mount tour behind 'Human' in June
Rod Stewart will return to the tour trail with a lengthy spring-summer outing that is set to begin on June 1. The veteran singer will be supporting his latest album, “Human.”
Thirteen dates have been locked in so far, and tickets for all are set to hit the box office between Friday and Monday (4/6-4/9), according to tour promoter SFX Entertainment. Specific on-sale dates for each show were not available at press time.
Twenty-nine additional dates will be confirmed soon, according to tour organizers.
Stewart’s “Human” (Atlantic) was released in February, and debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album was originally planned for a November 2000 release, but was delayed after Stewart was forced to undergo thyroid surgery last year.
“I Can’t Deny It,” the first single from “Human,” entered Billboard’s latest Top 40 Adult singles chart at No. 33.
