Weekend Ticketing: Backstreet Boys, Robert Plant, Clapton, Prince, 'NSync, Strait, more

Backstreet Boys tickets, which have been rolling out for several weeks, continue to go on sale in new markets this week. The group is scheduled to open its tour in early June, and will remain on the road through August.

Tickets for the group’s June concert in Hartford, Conn., will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Saturday (4/14), and tickets for their performance in Auburn Hills, Mich., will hit the market at noon Eastern Time on Saturday. At 10 a.m. Central Time, tickets for the group’s appearances in the St. Louis, Kansas City and San Antonio areas will go on sale.

Though details about a full tour remained sketchy at press time, Robert Plant has scheduled two concerts for late May. Tickets for his May 25 appearance at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday (4/13), and tickets for a May 28 show at D.A.R. Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. will go on sale on Friday at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.

Tickets for two upcoming Eric Clapton performances will go on sale on Saturday (4/14). At 10 a.m. Eastern Time, tickets to his Philadelphia appearance will be released; at 10 a.m. Mountain Time, tickets for his Denver appearance will hit the market.

Tickets to Jimmy Buffett’s June 7 performance at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Saturday (4/14).

Tickets for at least four of Brooks & Dunn's Neon Circus festival shows will go on sale on Saturday (4/14). At 9 a.m. Eastern Time, tickets go on sale for the tour’s Holmdel, N.J., stop, while tickets for shows in Columbus, Ohio, and Atlanta will be released at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Tickets for the tour’s Detroit-area show will go on sale at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.

George Strait 's country music festival stops in the Chicago area on May 26. Tickets go on sale on Saturday (4/14) at 10 a.m. Central Time.

‘NSync visits Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on June 5; tickets go on sale at noon Eastern Time on Saturday (4/14). Meanwhile, a third show--May 30--has been added to the boy group’s Boston-area run; tickets for that one also go on sale on Saturday (4/14) at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
