Destiny's Child-led 'TRL' tour to open in July

The first MTV-sponsored "Total Request Live" tour--a two-month outing to feature Destiny’s Child, Eve [ tickets ], Dream [ tickets ] and 3LW--will kick off on July 18 in Albany, N.Y.

The tour's initial routing was announced via Destiny's Child [ tickets ]'s official website, but venues haven't been confirmed. The extensive run includes two nights in Honolulu.

Previously published reports said that Nelly and Jessica Simpson were to be a part of the package, but they couldn't be confirmed as participants as press time. The Carson Daly-hosted "Total Request Live" (TRL) is a video-request show that airs each weekday afternoon.

Destiny's Child released its third album, "Survivor," on Tuesday (5/1). It is the follow-up to 1999's multi-platinum "The Writing's on the Wall.
