R. Kelly to tour with Sunshine Anderson and Syleena Johnson
R&B star R. Kelly is set to kick off his U.S. tour on July 1 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The jaunt, which features openers Sunshine Anderson and Syleena Johnson, visits mostly theaters.
"Fiesta," the latest single from Kelly's three-times platinum album "TP-2.Com," sits atop this weeks Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart. The remix version of "Fiesta," the albums third single, features a guest appearance by rapper Jay-Z.
Jive Records will release R. Kelly's home video "TP-2.COM - The Videos" on June 12. The package includes videos, behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Kelly.
Anderson, who is managed by Macy Gray, released her debut album, "Your Woman" (Atlantic Records), on April 17. Her single "Heard It All Before" landed at No. 27 on this weeks Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Last week, Johnson became the first female R&B artist to debut at No. 1 on Billboards Heatseekers Chart. Her debut album, "Chapter 1: Love, Pain and Forgiveness" (Jive), features the R. Kelly-penned single "I Am Your Woman." She is set to perform the song on "Soul Train" on June 23.
