Incubus finishes new album, tours with Area: One

Incubus has wrapped up work on the follow-up to the multi-platinum "Make Yourself," just prior to its series of dates with Moby’s Area: One festival.
Incubus kicks off its Area: One dates on July 11 in Atlanta, Ga., and continues with the tour through the end of July. On Aug. 4 it performs as part of the Rolling Rock Town Fair in Latrobe, Penn., with the Stone Temple Pilots and Live.
The forthcoming record is slated for an Oct. 23 release on Epic/Immortal records. "Make Yourself," which features the single "Drive," continues to sell 25,000 per week, pushing it past 1.5 million copies, according to the band's label. Two previous singles, "Pardon Me" and "Stellar," hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Charts.
Currently on a European tour, Incubus has previewed the new songs "Warning," "Nice," "Circles," "11 a.m." and "Wish You Were Here," according to Incubus’ spokeswoman.
After August shows in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Incubus is planning to headline the U.S. venues in support of the forthcoming record. Dates will be released soon, the spokeswoman said.
