Limp Bizkit cuts European tour short
The final five stops on the Limp Bizkit 's European tour have been canceled because frontman Fred Durst "has suffered an increasingly painful and distressing back injury," according to a statement from the band.
Doctors have ordered Durst to refrain from all physical activities for at least two weeks, according to the statement posted to the band's website.
Durst is expected to make a "gradual" recovery from the injury--said to be a stress fracture to a vertebrae--and he will undergo physical rehabilitation.
The canceled dates are Berlin (6/19); Erfurt, Germany (6/20); Zurich, Switzerland (6/22); Milton Keynes, U.K. (6/24) and Dublin (6/26).
Limp Bizkit's European tour opened in mid-May.
Late last year, five dates on the Limp Bizkit-led Anger Management tour were canceled within less than a month. Durst was said to have been suffering recurring throat problems.
