Tentative dates revealed for Jane's Addiction-led festival

The Perry Farrell [ tickets ]-organized Jubilee Festival--to be headlined by Farrell's band Jane's Addiction [ tickets ]--is tentatively scheduled to open on Aug. 15 at the DTE Energy Music Theater north of Detroit.

According to the website janesaddiction.com, the jaunt--the band's first outing since the 1997 Relapse tour--continues through mid-October.

The other acts on the Jubilee Festival bill haven't been named, but Weezer is reportedly involved. The event is expected to feature a mix of bands and DJs.

In April, Jane’s Addiction reunited for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., and a for a show in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The Jane’s Addiction lineup will include lead singer Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and former Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble.

Navarro, who released his solo debut "Trust No One" on June 19, is planning a tour in the fall. Meanwhile, Farrell will send "Song Yet to Be Sung" to stores on July 17.
