Weekend Ticketing: James Taylor, matchbox twenty, DMX, Stevie Nicks, Jessica Simpson, more
After taking more than a year off from the road, James Taylor is again blanketing the tour circuit. Tickets for four of his tour's recently added stops will go on sale on Saturday (7/14).
At 9 a.m. Pacific Time, tickets for Taylor's Seattle show will hit the market. At noon Central Time, tickets go on sale for his appearances in New Orleans, Birmingham, Ala., and Memphis, Tenn.

Tickets for matchbox twenty's upcoming appearance in Jacksonville, Fla., will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Saturday (7/14), and tickets for the group's stop in Boosier City, La., will hit the market at 10 a.m. Central Time. At noon Central Time, tickets for the group's gig in Huntsville, Ala., go on sale.

Counting Crows are playing some club dates on their current U.S. tour, including two dates at House of Blues in New Orleans. Tickets for those shows, as well as a show in Austin, Texas, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Central Time on Saturday (7/14).

John Mellencamp's summer tour rolls into Texas in August. Tickets for his appearance in the San Antonio region will go on sale at 10 a.m. Central Time on Saturday (7/14); tickets for his show at the new American Airlines Center in Dallas will go on sale at noon Central Time.

DMX, Braveheart, Lil Whoody and others are scheduled to play at Tampa's Teco Arena on Aug. 24. Tickets go on sale on Saturday (7/14) at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
Though a full, confirmed itinerary for the Jessica Simpson -led Dreamchaser tour hadn't surfaced by press time, tickets for at least five of the tour's stops are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday (7/14). Joining Simpson on the bill are Eden's Crush, Youngstown, Toya and Plus One.

Meat Puppets' frontman/guitarist Curt Kirkwood has planned a series of solo acoustic dates, according to the band's official website. Tickets for his Aug. 2 appearance at the Turf Club in St. Paul, Minn., will go on sale at 10 a.m. Central Time on Friday (7/13).
