Fatboy Slim 's video "Weapon of Choice," starring actor Christopher Walken, received nine nominations for the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, topping the list of nominees. The ceremony will take place on Sept. 6 at New York's Lincoln Center.

The second batch of top nominees, with six nominations each, includes Christina Aguilera , Lil' Kim, Mya and Pink for "Lady Marmalade;" Missy Elliott for "Get Ur Freak On;" and 'NSync for "Pop."

Eminem and Dido ("Stan"), U2 ("Beautiful Day" and "Elevation Remix") and Destiny's Child ("Survivor") tied with five nominations. Janet Jackson collected four for "All for You."
