Neko Case hits the road with her Boyfriends
Alt-country singer Neko Case and Her Boyfriends are on the road once again to support of their album "Furnace Room Lullaby," released on Bloodshot Records last year. The tour visits Indianapolis on Friday (8/3) and reaches into October.
Case will join the New Pornographers for two shows on their Canadian tour. Last year, the New Pornographers released their Mint Records' debut, "Mass Romantic," featuring Case's vocals.
The New York Times Critics' Picks 2000 named Case's "Furnace Room Lullaby" the fifth best album of the year. BBC radio programmer John Peel dubbed Case's song "Twist the Knife" the No. 1 track on his Festive 50 for 2000.
According to music publisher Bug Music, Case and Tucson band Calexico "have been collaborating on material for her upcoming Bloodshot release."
