The Offspring Announce Second Round Of Tour Dates

The Offspring have announced a second leg of North American dates on their continuing world tour, bringing the band back into the US and Canada from late February through mid-April. Dates through mid-March, revealed late last week by band representatives, route the Columbia Records act primarily through the Northeast.

The North American run, kicking off February 24th in Cleveland, comes on the heels of a successful European outing that has helped propel the Offspring, current album Americana to top chart positions in Sweden, Finland, England, Holland, Denmark and Portugal. The album currently holds the #4 position on the American Bilboard pop album chart.

The first radio track from the album, Pretty Fly For A White Guy, enjoyed saturation airplay at active and alt rock stations across the country as well as strong support at MTV. A second track, Why Don't You Get A Job, is picking up steam at radio to coincide with the tour.

Following the North American tour, the band will move on to Australia and Japan.
