Beck Pushes Mutations Performance Back To April

Beck postponed a January 14th date at Las Vegas' Tropicana Hotel to allow drumer Joey Warmonker to recover from the flu, according to published reports. The show, one of only two full-length concerts scheduled to showcase Beck's current Mutations album, was pulled at the last moment when it was determined that Waronker was too sick to perform.

Mutations, given little promotion, is regarded by Beck as a transitional album paving the way for his next major effort, expected to be released in the summer. An April re-scheduled date for the show would correspond with tentative plans for Beck to do a round of West Coast dates in late March.
