Nonpoint gears up for first headlining tour

Nonpoint [ tickets ] will follow its recent stint on Ozzfest's second stage with a headlining club tour that will also feature Darwin’s Waiting Room, Reveille and Sw1tched. The outing is scheduled to begin later this month, and is expected to run into late October.

While cities have been tagged for most of the jaunt, venues have only been confirmed for about half of the planned stops. Details appear in the itinerary below.

Florida-based Nonpoint [ tickets ] released its debut album, “Statement” (MCA), last October. The album features the group’s breakthrough single, “What a Day,” as well as new single “Endure.” The companion music video for the latter track was shot during a stop on this summer’s Ozzfest tour.

Fellow MCA act Darwin’s Waiting Room is touring in support of last month’s “Orphan,” while Reveille is gearing up to back its sophomore effort, “Bleed the Sky” (Elektra). Sw1tched, meanwhile, is expected to release its debut on Immortal Records on Sept. 11, according to the label.
