Illness sinks two more Stevie Nicks concerts

Stevie Nicks [ tickets ]’ continuing battle with a respiratory illness has forced the singer to call off two more shows. Nicks has now scrapped six consecutive concerts, and a total of 11 of her last 23 scheduled performances since her tour kicked off on July 6.

Though Nicks has rescheduled all of her missed concerts to date, the two latest casualties--Tuesday night (8/28) in St. Louis and Wednesday night (8/29) in Bonner Springs, Kan.--have been canceled outright and will not be rescheduled. Tickets are available at the point of purchase, according to venue spokespeople.

Details on all of Nicks’ postponements and subsequent make-up performances appear in the itinerary below.

Nicks is scheduled to resume touring on Aug. 31 in Minneapolis, according to her official website. A spokesperson for the singer could not be reached at press time.

Nicks’ Oct. 6 engagement at Las Vegas' Aladdin Resort and Casino is now a two-night stand on Oct. 5-6; the Oct. 6 show was originally set to take place on Aug. 25. Tickets for the Oct. 5 show went on sale on Monday (8/27).
