After aborting plans to kick off its Jubilee tour in mid August, Jane’s Addiction has confirmed the first three dates of the forthcoming jaunt, which will now begin in early October. In addition to a reunited Jane’s Addiction, the outing will also feature Live and Mos Def.

Confirmed so far are stops in Worcester, Mass.; New York City; and East Rutherford, N.J. Details appear in the itinerary below. Tickets for all three dates are set to hit the box office on Friday (8/31), according to organizers.

The tour will hit a total of 30 cities, and will take a two-week break in mid-October so that Live can play some previously scheduled European dates, according to tour promoter Clear Channel Entertainment.

Jane’s Addiction’s touring lineup will feature original members Perry Farrell [ tickets ] (vocals), Dave Navarro [ tickets ] (guitar) and Stephen Perkins (drums), as well as Martyn LeNoble (bass), who was a member of Farrell’s side-project, Porno for Pyros.

Both Farrell and Navarro recently released solo albums, and each is preceding the Jane's Addiction [ tickets ] outing with a series of solo dates. Farrell is in the midst of a brief string of club dates in support of his July release, “Song Yet to Be Sung” (Virgin), and Navarro will launch his tour in support of June’s “Trust No One” (Capitol) on Thursday night (8/30).

Live’s forthcoming album “V” is due out in mid-September, according to the group’s official website.

Mos Def’s most recent release is 1999’s “Black on Both Sides” (Rawkus). A new album is due out next year, according to a label spokesperson.
