Tom Waits New York Dates Set

Tom Waits will work at least two more cities into his North American tour with a four-night stop at New York's Beacon Theatre and an expected multi-night stand in Boston adding to the eclectic performer's itinerary.

The New York shows are set to go on sale Monday (8/16), according to Waits' publicists at the Mitch Schneider Organization. The final New York show will coincide with Waits' September 27th performance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Waits began his U.S. tour with a brief series of shows on the West Coast in June. The tour supports Waits' critically acclaimed Mule Variations album.

The ''Get Behind The Mule Tour'' will continue to Boston following the New York shows. An announcement of Boston shows dates and venue information is expected shortly, Waits' representative said in a statement.
