Brian McKnight pushes back start of fall-winter tour, adds dates
update: R&B singer Brian McKnight has revised his fall tour plans. Instead of kicking off his jaunt in Detroit on Sept. 21, as previously reported, he will now begin the tour in Seattle on Oct. 24.
McKnight's schedule also has been expanded, and is now scheduled to run through January.
The Grammy nominee's latest album, "Superhero," was released last month and debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 album chart; it reached No. 4 on Billboard's top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart. The album features guest appearances by 'NSync's Justin Timberlake, gospel legend Fred Hammond, as well as rappers Nate Dogg and St. Lunatics with Nelly.
Since his eponymous debut in 1992, McKnight has released more than 20 Top 10 singles.
