Bush plays select U.S. dates behind 'Golden State'
Bush has scheduled a handful of U.S. appearances before it heads overseas to promote its latest record, "Golden State."
The English band performed on Monday (10/22) at the Roxy in Hollywood, and will play in Las Vegas on Thursday (10/25). It co-headlines New Orleans' third annual Voodoo Fest on Saturday (10/27), then wraps up its short U.S. tour on Oct. 31 with a WRIF-FM concert for contest winners only at the Emerald Theatre in Mount Clemens, Mich.
On Nov. 20, Bush kicks off its European tour in Glasgow, Scotland. It will perform in the continent until Dec. 7, when it plays in Zurich, Switzerland.
Bush--vocalist-guitarist Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Nigel Pulsford, bassist Dave Parsons and drummer Robin Goodridge--will return to North America for a full-scale tour early next year, according to Bush’s spokeswoman.
"Golden State," the band's first album for Atlantic Records, was released on Tuesday (10/23). Recorded in London and Los Angeles, "Golden State" was produced by Dave Sardy (Marilyn Manson, System of a Down) and engineered by Greg Fidelman (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer).
The first single is "The People That We Love," which hit No. 10 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and No. 11 on the Modern Rock Tracks list.
