Alt-rock band Lifehouse [ tickets ] has extended its long-running tour deep into winter in support of its DreamWorks debut album, the double-platinum "No Name Face."

The itinerary reaches to Dec. 19, when the band performs at Los Angeles' Staples Center. Two of Lifehouse's dates--Dec. 9 at the Vic in Chicago, and Dec. 10 at Clutch Cargo's in Pontiac, Mich.--are rescheduled shows; the original dates were canceled due to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Beginning in mid December, Lifehouse is scheduled to appear at various radio festivals, according to its spokeswoman.

The tour's lineup includes singer-guitarist Jason Wade, bassist Sergio Andrade, drummer Rick Woolstenhulme and touring guitarist Joerg Kohring.

Pop band the Calling will open shows through Nov. 11. That group released its RCA Records' debut, "Camino Palmero"--which spawned the radio hit "Wherever You Will Go"--in the summer.

Lifehouse is scheduled to present an award on Friday (10/26) at the Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas. "Hanging by a Moment" is nominated for Song of the Year in two categories--Top 40-Pop Rock and Pop Alternative Radio.

The band's latest single, the ballad "Breathing," was just released to radio.
