Pete Yorn tours into December

Singer-songwriter Pete Yorn has headed out on tour with rockers Remy Zero and JJ72.
The tour continues on Thursday (11/1) in Vancouver, and wraps up on Dec. 6 in Minneapolis. Yorn will then perform at two radio festivals, including a Dec. 11 show in Pittsburgh with Remy Zero and Flickerstick.
Yorn is promoting the album "musicforthemorningafter," released last March on Columbia Records. He recently released an EP, "Live at the Roxy," recorded in June at Los Angeles' Roxy Theatre; it is available at several independent record stores throughout the U.S.
Yorn is nominated for Best Kept Secret at this year's My VH-1 Music Awards, scheduled for Dec. 2.
Remy Zero, which recently toured with English pop band Travis, opens the entire tour. Travis, which appears on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Wednesday (10/31), is touring in support of "The Golden Hum," its debut for Elektra Records. One of Remy Zero's songs, "Save Me," serves as the theme song for the WB show "Smallville."
The Irish pop band JJ72 joins Remy Zero as an opener on select dates. The group, who opened for U2 at their Slane Castle shows in Dublin this summer, released its self-titled U.S. debut last year on Columbia Records.
The Glands, an Athens rock band, joins Remy Zero as a supporting act on Nov. 13 at the Paramount in Santa Fe, N.M.
