The New York Daily News reported that AOL "won't let a Bruce Springsteen discussion group quote lyrics from a dozen Bruce songs [that AOL] considers too suggestive."
Reportedly among the songs with the lyrics in question are "Blinded by the Light,'' "Pink Cadillac,'' "Spare Parts,'' "Spirit in the Night,'' "Book of Dreams,'' "Red Headed Woman'' and "Ramrod.''
A Nashville hospital on Wednesday (10/31) stated that Johnny Cash has been hospitalized for bronchitis, the Associated Press reported.
George Harrison has co-written a new song with his son Dhani that will appear on "Small World Big Band," the forthcoming album from Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, according to Billboard.com. Harrison has contributed lead vocals for the song, titled "Horse to the Water."
According to the Associated Press, "Hanson, the all-brother pop group from Oklahoma, has sued MP3.com, alleging copyright infringement for the digital downloading of their music."
Radio Free Virgin, an online radio station, announced that it has dropped from 26 employees to 11, CNet reported. Its offices are in Los Angeles.
Tim Curry, better-known as Frank-N-Furter in the cult midnight movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," will play Ebeneezer Scrooge Madison Square Garden's production of "A Christmas Carol," which will run from Nov. 23-Dec. 29.
Nine Inch Nails' forthcoming live CD/VHS/DVD release, "All That Could Have Been" (Nothing)--originally scheduled for a Dec. 4 release--has been pushed back to Jan. 22. The new release date is attributed to production delays in the DVD mastering process, according to the group's publicist.
