Slipknot maps post-Pledge of Allegiance outing

update: Slipknot plans to follow its run on the recently completed Pledge of Allegiance Tour with a month of headlining U.S. dates that will get underway in late November.
The heavy metal group, whose members are all known for wearing masks and coveralls throughout their live performances, is touring in support of its late-August release, "Iowa" (Roadrunner), so named because it is the band's home state.
Swedish metal act In Flames and New Jersey-based newcomers 40 Below Summer will open for Slipknot on all dates, according to Roadrunner.
The Pledge of Allegiance Tour wrapped up in East Rutherford, N.J., on Halloween night. The outing was co-headlined by Slipknot and System of a Down, and also featured Mudvayne, Rammstein, No One and American Head Charge .
