Janet Jackson sets up new round of U.S. dates
Janet Jackson wrapped up the most recent leg of her "All for You" tour in late October, but the pop star isn't finished supporting her latest album just yet. Jackson plans to play 10 more U.S. shows beginning in late January, dates for six of which have now been set.
Tickets for five of the six confirmed dates go on sale this Saturday (12/8).
On Tuesday (12/4), Jackson's management said that the singer's new tour leg will comprise a total of only 10 U.S. dates.
The Feb. 17 show in Honolulu, Hawaii, will air live on HBO.
Jackson kicked off her "All for You" tour in July and toured the U.S. non-stop until the end of October. A European tour was originally planned for November and December, but Jackson canceled those plans following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, citing safety concerns.
"All For You" (Virgin), Jackson's latest album, was released in April and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
