Enya, Paul McCartney, Sting nab Golden Globes nominations

Enya , Paul McCartney , Diane Warren, Sting and David Baerwald received Golden Globe nominations for Best Original Song--Motion Picture, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced on Thursday (11/20).

Enya's nomination is for "May It Be" from "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," McCartney's is for the title track to the "Vanilla Sky" soundtrack, and Sting's is for "Until...," from "Kate and Leopold."

Baerwald's nod is for "Come What May," a song from "Moulin Rouge" that was sung by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. Dianne Warren is nominated for "There You'll Be," a song from "Pearl Harbor" performed by Faith Hill.

Nominated for Best Original Score--Motion Picture are Craig Armstrong for "Moulin Rouge," Angelo Badalamenti for "Mullholland Drive," Lisa Gerrard and Pieter Bourke for "Ali," James Horner for "A Beautiful Mind," Howard Shore for "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," John Williams for "A.I.," Christopher Young for "The Shipping News," and Hans Zimmer for "Pearl Harbor."

NBC will broadcast the Golden Globes ceremony live on Jan. 20. A full list of nominees is available on the official Golden Globes website.
