Black Crowes, Jimmy Page Join For L.A., NYC Shows

Led Zeppelin axeman Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes -- inspired by what their publicists have characterized as a roof-raising set they played together at London's 400-capacity Cafe du Paris on June 27 -- will try to work similar magic next month at four U.S. concerts.

Page and the Crowes will join forces at New York's Roseland Ballroom Oct. 12 and 13, and at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles Oct. 18 and 19. Tickets for the New York gigs go on sale Sept. 10, and tickets to the Los Angeles show go on the market Sept. 12.

The London pairing of the guitar legend with The Black Crowes packed the club and drew a crowd of thousands outside the venue. The show included rhythm and blues standards as well as a best-of assortment from Led Zeppelin and the Crowes.
