Big-name guests contribute to forthcoming Sheryl Crow album

Sheryl Crow 's fourth studio album, which is due in late March, will feature contributions from a long list of guests. Among the artists who have recorded tracks with Crow are Stevie Nicks , Don Henley, Lenny Kravitz and Dixie Chicks ' Natalie Maines.

The first single from the as-yet untitled album will be "Soak Up the Sun," which features vocals from Liz Phair. The song is expected to hit radio in February, according to a posting on Crow's official website.

Crow has collaborated often with Nicks in recent years. The Fleetwood Mac singer appeared on Crow's 1999 live album, "Sheryl Crow and Friends: Live From Central Park," and Crow shares vocals with Nicks on "It's Only Love," a track on Nicks' 2001 album "Trouble in Shangri-La."

The track "It's So Easy" reunites Crow with Henley, for whom she sang backup early in her career.

Crow and Maines performed several songs together at a breast cancer benefit in Los Angles last fall, including Crow's "It Don't Hurt." Dixie Chicks appear on Crow's live album.

Folk-country star Emmylou Harris and blues guitarist Doyle Bramhall II also appear on the album.

Crow's take on "Long Gone Lonesome Blues" from the Hank Williams tribute album "Timeless" (Lost Highway) recently earned her a Grammy nomination in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance category.

Her cover of the Beatles' track "Mother Nature's Son" is currently available on the "I Am Sam" (V2) movie soundtrack.
