Bush plays U.S. clubs and theaters
English rock group Bush has unveiled plans for its North American tour, slated to begin in late February.
The quartet will kick it off at Denver's Fillmore Auditorium on Feb. 28 and will continue the jaunt through April 2, when it performs at San Francisco's Warfield.
Bush is touring in support of "Golden State," its first album for Atlantic Records and its fourth album of new material overall. Released on Oct. 23, "Golden State" was produced by Bush and Dave Sardy (Marilyn Manson, System of a Down).
The tour announcement comes follows the recent release of the album's second single, "Headful of Ghosts." The song sits at No. 26 on Radio and Records' nationwide rock airplay chart.
To push the record, Bush played a handful of U.S. gigs last year around the release of "Golden State." It also appeared on several TV shows, including ABC-TV's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve," the 2001 Radio Music Awards, "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn."
Bush is frontman-guitarist Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Nigel Pulsford, bassist Dave Parsons and drummer Robin Goodridge.
