Janet Jackson resumes tour, readies for live special
Janet Jackson returned to the road on Friday night (1/25) for another round of U.S. dates in support of last year's "All for You."
Jackson performed in Louisville, Ky., on Friday and in Champaign, Ill., on Saturday (1/26). She has one Canadian stop and eight U.S. dates remaining on her itinerary.
On Feb. 17, HBO will air "Janet in Concert from Hawaii," which will feature Jackson's tour-ending Feb. 16 performance in Honolulu.
Earlier this month, Jackson completed a string of Japanese tour dates. The singer was due to tour Europe last fall, but scrapped those plans in the wake of Sept. 11.
"All for You" (Virgin), Jackson's latest album, was released in April and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album has sold about 2.7 million copies to date, according to industry sources.
