Sade
"Lovers Live" (Epic/Sony)
The sultry pop singer releases a live follow-up to her album "Lovers Rock," released in late 2000.
The live album was recorded during Sade's 2001 tour and features such hits as "Sweetest Taboo" and "Smooth Operator." A DVD edition is due out later this month (2/26). The album features 13 songs and the DVD will have 22, plus a photo gallery, documentary footage and more.
On the day of the album's release, Sade will participate in an Internet chat at 6 p.m. Eastern Time on her official website. The album will stream for the entire day on her site.
Sade has been nominated for two Grammy awards: Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (for the song "By Your Side") and Best Pop Vocal Album, for "Lovers Rock," which is certified triple-platinum.
J. Lo
"J to the L-O! The Remixes" (Epic/Sony)
Actress-singer-clothier-tabloid magnet Jennifer Lopez releases an album of remixes.
Guests include Fat Joe, Ja Rule, and Anastacia, with whom she sings a duet. Lopez's onetime romantic interest, P. Diddy, is present on the track "Feelin' So Good (Bad Boy Remix)." Remixers include Rodney Jerkins and Hex Hector, among others.
The video for the song "Ain't It Funny (Murder Remix)" is streaming on her official website. Streaming audio for the song "I'm Real (Murder Remix)" is also available.
The album will stream in its entirety on MSN Music throughout the day before its release.

"Grammy Nominees 2002" (Universal)
The eighth edition in this series of annual compilation albums features U2, Bob Dylan, India.Arie, OutKast, Train and others.
A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the album will benefit the Grammy Foundation's music-education programs and its archive and preservation initiatives, according to a press release.

The Grateful Dead may have been the first band to inspire an underground pipeline of fan-made live recordings, some of which have made their way into "Dick's Picks."
The band's official website describes the "Dick's Picks" series as containing "peak Grateful Dead performances, selected by the Dead's intrepid vault archivist Dick Latvala, using his own amazing ears and the good advice of the [Grateful Dead] tape collecting community."
Fu Manchu
"California Crossing" (Mammoth)
Seventies-esque rock band Fu Manchu serves up its sixth album, the guitar-driven "California Crossing." It's the southern California band's fourth release for Mammoth Records, and the label is offering streaming audio of the album on its official website. Fu Manchu is touring in support of "California Crossing," and dates are available on Mammoth's website.
The Church
"After Everything … Now This" (Thirsty Ear)
Moody Australian rock quartet the Church releases its first collection of original material since 1998's "Halogram of Baal." According to the Church's official website, it will embark on a world tour to coincide with the album's release.
Fans last heard the band giving classic songs by Ultravox, Neil Young, David Bowie and others ethereal treatment for its 2000 covers album "Box of Birds."
John Paul Jones
"Thunderthief" (Discipline Global Mobile)
The legendary Led Zeppelin bassist wrote "Thunderthief"'s nine tracks and plays a voluminous number of instruments on the album, including 4-, 6-, 10- and 12-string bass, bass steel guitar, piano, tripleneck mandolin, kyma, koto, autoharp and ukele.
The album features four vocal tracks and five instrumental numbers. King Crimson founder and Discipline Global Mobile label-head Robert Fripp makes a guest appearance, as does Adam Bomb.
