'NSync has added rap mogul P. Diddy to its roster of support acts on its upcoming U.S. tour, according to published reports. Alt-rock act Smash Mouth and R&B singer Ginuwine have also been tapped for the run. Details on which act will open on which dates have not been announced.
Mick Tucker, drummer for Sweet ("Ballroom Blitz," "Love Is Like Oxygen"), died of leukemia on Thursday (2/13) at age 54, the Associated Press reported.
Beck will warm up for his Jan. 25 benefit show for the Recording Artists Coalition with Eddie Vedder and Mike Ness by playing a pair of club dates. Five pairs of tickets for each warm up show--Feb. 21 at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Feb. 24 at the Knitting Factory in West Hollywood, Calif.--will be given away via Beck's official website.
Diana Ross' self-titled debut album will be reissued by Motown on March 26 as part of the label's series "Motown Classic Albums--Remastered & Revisited." It has been expanded with eight extra tracks. Smokey Robinson & the Miracles' "Going to a Go-Go" will be reissued on the same date.
