Pink plots summer tour
Pink has a Grammy award (for "Lady Marmalade" from the "Moulin Rouge" soundtrack) on her shelf and a hit record, "M!ssundaztood" (Arista), which peaked at number 6 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart. So what's the pop star doing next? She's hitting the road for a two-month tour.
The tour, her first as a headliner, is scheduled to kick off May 2 at the Web Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, and will wrap June 28 at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre.
The singer honed her stage skills while supporting 'NSync last summer during its "Celebrity" tour. If her sexually-charged performance of "Lady Marmalade" alongside Maya, Lil' Kim and Christina Aguilera during February's Grammy Awards ceremony is any indication, her solo shows are sure to be over the top.
