Stone Temple Pilots set spring tour
Headline-making rock band Stone Temple Pilots will launch its spring 2002 tour April 12 at the Rock for Roses Benefit in Austin, TX.
Memphis' Beale Street Music Festival, on May 5, and Atlanta's Music Midtown Festival, on May 4, are among the tour stops.
According to the band's official website, the dates will precede a return to the studio to record the follow-up to 2001's "Shangri-La Dee Da." Stone Temple Pilots had been offered a spot on the 2002 edition of the OzzFest tour, but turned it down.
