Oasis to Satiate North America’s Thirst for Tour
Oasis , led by fraternal duo Noel and Liam Gallagher, has announced the first leg of a North American tour in support of its new album, “Heathen Chemistry.”
Tickets for many venues will go on sale beginning May 31, and the band will be teaming with North American radio stations for ticket pre-order promotions.
Though they previously swore off touring, the Gallagher brothers have apparently put aside their notorious differences to ease back onto the live performance circuit during the past year. As part of a 2002 world tour, dates are planned throughout Europe in the months leading up to the band’s stateside and Canadian gigs.
The new album's first single, "The Hindu Times," has topped the charts in the band’s native U.K. and is already working its way onto American radio.
