Ben Folds Locks in Solo Tour Dates

Ben Folds , former frontman of the Ben Folds Five, has announced a set of intimate club and theater dates for the month of June, titled Ben Folds and a Piano.
Also confirmed is Folds' appearance at the Newport Music Festival on July 6.
In support of his first solo full-length, "Rockin' the Suburbs" (Epic), Folds has toured consistently with and without a band since fall of 2001. As the name implies, June's tour will feature Folds and a baby grand piano, and will be opened by baroque pop act Divine Comedy.
"Rockin' the Suburbs," on which Folds experiments with power-pop and straight rock, peaked at No. 42 on the Billboard album chart.
