Slayer Announces U.S. Tour Dates
Heavy-metal band Slayer has released initial dates for its H82K2 tour of the U.S., set to begin in August.
Soulfly and In Flames will fill supporting slots. As on the band’s European dates, original Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo will be filling in on drums in place of Paul Bostaph, who left the band in 2001. Tickets for several of the dates will be available three days in advance of the on-sale date via Slayer’s website. More dates are expected to be announced shortly.
Slayer’s most recent album, 2001’s “God Hates Us All,” was critically well-received, and garnered a Grammy nomination for one of its tracks, “Disciple.”
