Paul McCartney Unveils Further U.S. Tour Dates
Paul McCartney , who in April embarked on his first U.S. tour since 1993, has announced a second set of dates, this time titled Back in the U.S.
This leg of the tour comprises 22 dates, beginning Sept. 21 and ending Oct. 29.
McCartney, recently named the top-grossing touring artist of the year by Pollstar, released his latest, "Driving Rain" (Capitol), in November 2001. It debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200 album chart. McCartney’s 36-song tour set is said to feature 20 Beatles hits, as well as a many well-loved McCartney solo numbers.
McCartney's recent tours of North America and Europe brought his lifelong tally of live concerts to more than 600. He performed 252 concerts with the Beatles, 142 with Wings and more than 200 as a solo artist.
