One of last year's breakthrough artists at SXSW was the petite bombshell Victoria Hesketh, aka Little Boots [ tickets ]. The British pop dynamo is now celebrating the US release of her debut album "Hands," with a brief North American tour.

The trek's kick-off date was well timed last week (3/2) in New York City, as it was the same day the set on Elektra Records hits stores. The album was released in the UK last summer and promptly charted at No. 5 on their Top 75 Album Chart. Fans have a few more chances to catch the tour before Hesketh and co. head home. Tomorrow (3/12) the band performs at The Glass House in Pomona, CA, and Saturday (3/13) the group will play at Casbah in San Diego. Little Boots is also slated to do a set at next month's Coachella festival in Indio, CA.
