Tour takes shape for Susan Tedeschi

Susan Tedeschi hits the road in February to back her second major-label effort, "Wait for Me."

Released last November, "Wait for Me" contains the track "Alone," which earlier this week garnered the critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. A streaming version of the song is posted at Tedeschi's official website.

Sharing company with "Alone" on the album are several other tracks that Tedeschi wrote and produced, as well as covers of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice" and Paul Pena's "Gonna Move."

Guests on the album include guitarist Derek Trucks (Tedeschi's husband), Col. Bruce Hampton, pianist Johnnie Johnson (Chuck Berry) and country-blues duo Paul Rishnell and Annie Raines.

"Wait for Me" is the follow-up to Tedeschi's gold-certified, major-label debut, 1998's "Just Won't Burn." The latter album scored her a 2000 GRAMMY nomination in the Best New Artist category.
