Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds hook up and unplug

Dave Matthews takes a spring break from his namesake band for an acoustic tour with longtime collaborator Tim Reynolds .

The duo's itinerary primarily comprises performances at college venues, and also includes a date at New York City's famed Radio City Music Hall.

Dave Matthews Band fans know Reynolds, a prolific session guitarist, for his work on numerous DMB albums and tours, and particularly for 1999's "Live at Luther College," a two-disc set that houses a 1996 acoustic performance by Reynolds and Matthews.

In December, the Dave Matthews Band wrapped up a tour that supported last November's "Live from Folsom Field," a live, two-disc set and companion concert video that were recorded during the band's July 11, 2001 performance in Boulder, Colo.

Dave Matthews Band's most recent studio effort is last year's "Busted Stuff."
