Bon Jovi, Goo Goo Dolls expand spring tour
Bon Jovi 's 2003 tour with the Goo Goo Dolls has been extended a month, and is now scheduled to run well into April.
The tour's set list is expected to focus on cuts from Bon Jovi's new album, "Bounce," and will also include material spanning the band's entire career, according to Island Records.
Driven by the hit single "Everyday," "Bounce" entered the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 2 in October, the highest chart debut in Bon Jovi's history.
In other Bon Jovi news, Target has announced that its stores are now carrying an exclusive Bon Jovi CD that features eight tracks previously unreleased in the United States. Two of the tracks are acoustic and live versions of songs from "Bounce." The group also appears in a new Target commercial.
The Buffalo, N.Y.-based Goo Goo Dolls are touring in support of their latest CD, "Gutterflower." The album, which was released last May, was written by the group's John Rzeznik and Robby Takac, and was produced by the band with longtime collaborator Rob Cavallo.
