Brian Wilson To Record Live Album For Release On The Web

Brian Wilson , the troubled genius behind the Beach Boys' most critically acclaimed work, will record a live album during sold-out April 7 and 8 concerts at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood, Calif. The album will be released exclusively on Wilson's official website in late spring.

Meanwhile, Billboard Online reports that Wilson plans to embark on a concert tour in late June. According to the report, the concerts will open with an orchestra playing Beach Boys songs, followed by a performance by Wilson with his band. The shows will reportedly end with Wilson, the band and the orchestra performing the Beach Boys classic 1966 album ''Pet Sounds'' in its entirety.
